Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Replant mobile application and related services (the "Service") operated by Marius Labs ("Replant", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What Replant is
Replant is a lifestyle app for men who are thinking about a hair transplant. From four photos and a short questionnaire, it produces:
- illustrative visualizations of your own photo showing how your hair may look today, five years on if nothing changes, and after a transplant, including several hairline variants;
- a descriptive appearance reference on a public seven-step scale;
- a written pre-op dossier compiled from your inputs and published data, prepared by our team and delivered in the app.
2. What Replant is not
REPLANT IS NOT A MEDICAL SERVICE. The Service does not diagnose any condition, does not assess your health, does not recommend or prescribe any treatment, and does not predict the outcome of any procedure. Visualizations are illustrative and approximate: they are generated by an AI model from a photo and can differ substantially from any real result. The dossier reports ranges published by third parties; it is not advice about you.
Decisions about a transplant, a medication or any procedure belong to you and a qualified professional. Always consult one before acting.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service. By using it you confirm that you are.
4. Your account and the free tier
Replant creates an anonymous account on your device; no registration is required. Because the account is tied to the device and to iOS Keychain data, we cannot recover it for you if you erase your device, and the free tier (your photo today and one five-year visualization) is limited to one per device. We may suspend or restrict access for abuse of the free tier or of these Terms.
5. Replant Pro subscriptions
What Pro unlocks
Replant Pro unlocks the after visualizations, the hairline variants, unlimited new simulations kept in your library, and the pre-op dossier. Pro is offered as an auto-renewing weekly or yearly subscription. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by country.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store to your Apple ID. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
Managing and cancelling
Manage or cancel at any time in your Apple ID subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Deleting your data in the app or deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy. Request one through Apple Support or "Report a Problem" in your purchase history.
6. The dossier
The pre-op dossier is prepared by our team, with AI assistance and human review, from your answers and appearance reference. In normal conditions it is ready within 24 hours of your request and you receive a notification. It is written for your inputs and quotes published sources; it is provided for information only and is not a medical document, an estimate from a clinic, or a guarantee of any result.
7. Your photos and content
You keep ownership of your photos. You grant us the license needed to store and process them, and to create and store the visualizations and dossier, for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm that the photos show you and that you have the right to submit them. Do not submit photos of other people or of minors.
Visualizations are created for your personal use. You may save and share them; you agree not to present them as real photographs or as a result promised by any clinic.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with or reverse engineer it, to circumvent the free-tier limit, to submit content you have no right to, or to resell the Service.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, its design, code, texts and illustrations (excluding your photos) belong to Marius Labs and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or sell any part of the Service without our written permission.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Anthropic) as described in the Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for their availability or practices.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY OF THE VISUALIZATIONS OR OF THE DOSSIER, OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MARIUS LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, NOR FOR ANY DECISION YOU TAKE ON THE BASIS OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING THE CHOICE OF A CLINIC, A PROCEDURE OR A TREATMENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR 100 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Marius Labs and its team against claims arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of another person.
14. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your data from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms. Sections 2, 7, 9, 11, 12 and 13 survive termination.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date changes with them and material changes are announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts.
